Last July a new project was launched to promote European wine through funds from the REA (Research Executive Agency), which until now were known as CHAFEA funds. With the “Taste The Difference Made in EU (TTD.EU)” program, the consulting firm Opera Global Business will take charge of the implementation of a promotion campaign for the main European Denominations of Origin. The partners of the program (Unione Italiana Vini -UIV and the Catalan food promoter PRODECA) have relied on the consultancy’s experience in promotional campaigns for the sector.
The program, with a total amount of 6 million euros, aims to promote knowledge of the quality labels of European wines, their characteristics and their quality systems in the two main world markets: the United States and China. The campaign foresees the use of all the most effective promotional tools. In addition, new techniques and new innovative solutions will be made available to the sector and the DO.
In China, it has already been possible to implement events and actions in person, thanks to the local Opera Global Business team that has carried out training and information sessions for professionals in the sector in the main provinces of the country. In the coming months, numerous events are planned both in China and in the United States.
